I made this because I have lots of carrots in stock. I thought this a way to use them up. The carrot itself can't be tasted anymore because of the thyme and the curry powder in the sauce, good for people who does not like carrot taste :D

Ingredients:2 buah bawang bombay, potong empat
3 siung bawang putih, geprek (jumlah bawang putih sesuaikan dgn selera.. kalau suka boleh tambahkan lebih banyak atau sebaliknya)
250 gr cream cheese (atau yogurt polos)
350 gr wortel, cuci, potong 5-6 bagian (tdk perlu dikupas), buang ujungnya
400 cc kaldu atau air biasa
250 gr daging cincang, tumis sampai matang (bisa pakai ayam atau daging lainnya kalau mau)
50 gr jagung pipil
2 sdm pasta tomat
1 sdt thyme
1 sdt bubuk kari
2 sdt bubuk kaldu atau garam
1/2 sdt gula pasir
1 sdt merica bubuk
1 sdm seledri, cacah halus
1 sdm butter atau minyak goreng
500 gr spaghetti

In English:
2 onions, cut into quarter
3 cloves garlic, peeled, mashed (you can adjust the amount to your liking)
250 gr cream cheese (or plain yogurt)
350 gr carrot, washed, cut into 5-6 pieces (no need to peel), cut the tips
400 cc stock or water
250 gr ground beef, browned (can be substituted with chicken)
50 gr sweet corn
2 tbsp tomato paste
1 tsp dry thyme
1 tsp curry powder
2 tsp bullion or salt
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp ground pepper
1 tbsp celery, minced
1 tsbp butter or oil
500 gr spaghetti
Directions:Spaghetti dimasak sesuai petunjuk di kemasan, sisihkan.
Cairkan butter, tumis bawang putih dan bawang bombay sampai wangi.
Masukkan potongan wortel, aduk-aduk 5 menit.
Tuangi kaldu/air, tutup, didihkan dan masak sampai wortel matang.
Setelah matang, haluskan dengan blender sampai menjadi bubur.
Kembalikan ke panci, campur dgn daging cincang, cream cheese dan jagung pipil. Tambahkan semua bumbu, koreksi rasanya .. bila kurang garam tambahkan garam.
Masak dgn api kecil sampai kental.
Sajikan bersama spaghetti dan salad :-)

In English:
Cook the spaghetti according to the package, put aside.
Melt the butter in a pot, stir in garlic and onions, cook until fragrant.
Add in carrots and stock, bring to boil.
Cook until the carrots are soft.
Put all the vegetables in blender, process until become porridge like.
Return the carrot sauce to the pot, add in all other ingredients.
Correct the taste if needed, cook on low heat until thick.
Serve warm with spaghetti and salad :-)
